This is How You Trade Size

Introducing Jumper Advanced

Picture the last time you moved real size onchain. You saw a number at the top of the interface, you signed, and then you found out what you actually got. The two were not the same. On a $500 trade nobody cares. On $15,000 trade, that difference is real money.

Here is the thing most swap interfaces will not say out loud. The quote is a best case. It is calculated before your order hits the market, before your own size moves the price, before the fill behaves the way it really behaves at settlement. For small orders the gap is immaterial. For size, the quote and the fill are two different numbers, and you don't see the second one until settlement, when it's too late to act.

We built Jumper Advanced for the people who feel the gap. The ones moving enough that a bad fill is real money. It is the same Jumper you already use. What is new is the set of tools that decide what you walk away with: see the real fill before you sign, split a large order so size stops punishing you, and set a price once so you can stop watching the chart.

The same Jump, now Advanced.

Transaction Simulation and Smart Slippage

Start with the simplest version of the problem. A quote tells you what a trade would cost in a frictionless world. Settlement tells you what it cost in the real one. Simulation is how you see the second number before you are committed to it.

Transaction simulation runs your exact trade against a model of onchain settlement before anything executes. Not the quoted price. Your size, your pair, live conditions, resolved into the number you will actually receive. On that $15,000 swap it shows the expected output, the price impact your own order creates, the gas, and the slippage buffer, all before the transaction goes live. You read the real number, then you decide. Nothing moves until you confirm.

This is the part that is genuinely underrated, because most of the market cannot do it. Intent based flows have you sign first and let a solver fill you afterward, which means there is no pre trade simulation step to begin with. The fill happens after your signature, not before it. That is not a flaw in their design, it is a different trade off, and it is exactly why Jumper can put the real number in front of you first.

Smart Slippage handles the buffer so you do not have to guess at it. Most interfaces give you a slippage box and a warning and leave you to it. Set it too tight and the trade fails. Set it too loose and you feed value to the market. Getting it right means knowing the depth of the exact pair you are trading, which most people do not, so they guess. Smart Slippage tunes the buffer per pair, in real time, as the simulation loads.

Jumper Flow: the best output by splitting your order

Now the second problem, which is older than crypto. Push 150 ETH, for example, through a single pool on Base and every slice of that fill drags the price further from where it started. By the time the last of it clears, your effective price sits well below the number you saw at the top. The bigger your order relative to pool depth, the harder the price moves against you as you fill.

Trading desks worked this out decades ago. They break a large order up and work it across venues by hand, so no single book takes the whole weight. The idea is old and well understood. Automating it for onchain trades is the new part.

Jumper Flow does exactly that. It breaks one big order into smaller pieces and places each across the deepest independent sources available in that moment, then reconverges them into a single filled position. Each piece carries less price impact on its own, and because they are spread across separate pools, no single one absorbs the full hit. It triggers automatically above a size threshold, so there is no manual setup and no stack of transactions to babysit. You confirm once. The split runs as one flow.

The delta at size is larger than most traders assume, and that delta is the entire point of Flow.

Limit Orders: set the level, live priced when it fills

X_Article_-_Limit_Orders_are_live_(2).webp

Watching a chart to catch a price is a full-time job most people don't actually have. Limit orders exist to solve that: you set the condition once, hand the watch to the system, and walk away.

The hardest part of taking profit is being awake when the price gets there. Charts don't keep office hours, and the level you've waited weeks for has a habit of printing at 4am.

That's what limit orders on Jumper are for. You set a target price, and the order sits open watching for that level while you get on with your life. When the market reaches it, the trade fills. No alarms, no chart-staring, no catching yourself refreshing the same page for the tenth time today.

It works the way taking profit should have all along. Decide your level once, with a clear head, and let the order hold you to it. The version of you that set the target is usually smarter than the version watching a green candle at 4am, wondering if it goes higher.

The order does the watching. You do everything else.

Setting a target is table stakes. Filling it against live pricing across every market is the part worth switching for.

More to come

Most tools do one thing well and offer that single edge as the product; almost none bring the full set into a single interface. That's the line between Jumper Advanced and everything else: every market at once, the real fill up front, size protection, and limit orders priced live at execution.
